we aimed to produced a crime fiction movie opening which would captivate the viewer enough to want to watch a hole movie on it , to do this we needed to identify our audience and how to appeal to them.
The Crime Fiction genre usually targets males between the ages of 18-34 so we wanted to know what types of things this audience wanted and here is what came up:

#suspense
#interesting story
#participation
all of which are factors or Roland Barthes codes , I have use voice thread to talk about how we used them as well as a story board to show them (I apologise for background noise when made I assumed I could remove it)
